Arattupuzha
Arattupuzha is village lies on the south west part of haripad.Arattupuzha is a village on the shores of Arabian Sea. The area is very rich for mineral sand, also known as black sand. Most of the men in Arattupuzha are fisher men, and they used to go to sea in small boats for there daily expenses. Last time Arattupuzha was affected badly due to Tsunami and most of the houses were damaged and a majority of the residents of this area was rehabilited to many relief camps. Tidal attaks are most common in this area during rainy seasons. Valiyazheekal is a beautiful area in Arattupuzha.
