Chettikulangara Devi Temple


Chettikulangara Devi Temple is a famous Hindu Temple in Kerala. The main deity here is Bhadrakali. The temple is believed to be 1200 years old. In the morning goddess appears to be Maha Saraswathi, Mahalekshmi in the noon and Maha Kali or Durga in the evening. The temple hosts different festivals every year. Kumbha Bharani festival which is a blend of dance, music and ritual is the most famous festival. Kuthiyottam and Kettukazcha are the highlights of this festival.
